Role Overview

As a Corporate Receptionist at Rapport, the successful candidate will be responsible for creating outstanding first impressions across several reception areas in Canary Wharf, London. The role involves working across 7 reception areas within 4 buildings, providing variety and opportunities to interact with a wide range of guests, clients, colleagues, and stakeholders.

The Corporate Receptionist will welcome visitors, manage reception operations, respond to guest requests, handle calls, and provide office and floor management support. This is a standing role suited to someone who enjoys staying active, working with people, and delivering excellent service in a fast-paced corporate environment.

The position is offered as maternity cover, with potential opportunities to move into another role within Rapport or the Network Team when the current postholder returns.

Key Responsibilities as Corporate Receptionist

  • Provide office, reception, and floor management cover across several Canary Wharf locations
  • Welcome, meet, greet, and register guests at the main reception
  • Create professional and positive first impressions for visitors and clients
  • Handle guest requests efficiently, professionally, and courteously
  • Respond promptly to business and visitor requirements
  • Manage internal and external telephone calls in a professional manner
  • Report facility-related issues, including health and safety concerns
  • Follow company service standards and health and safety procedures
  • Build strong relationships with internal, external, and VIP stakeholders
  • Support colleagues and the wider reception team when required
  • Maintain excellent standards of personal presentation and customer service

Salary & Working Hours

  • £33,364 per year
  • Full-time position
  • 40 hours per week
  • Monday to Friday
  • Shift rota between 7 AM and 6 PM
  • Location: Canary Wharf, London
  • Contract: Maternity cover
