Role Overview
As a Meeting & Events Assistant at Rapport, the successful candidate will support meeting room coordinators, event coordinators, and Guest Services Ambassadors with the delivery of events and hospitality services.
Working under the supervision of the Operations Lead, the Meeting & Events Assistant will help coordinate event requests, prepare meeting spaces, welcome guests and vendors, and ensure events run smoothly from setup through completion.
This role is suited to someone organised, proactive, detail-oriented, and passionate about delivering a high-quality guest experience in a fast-paced corporate environment.
Key Responsibilities as Meeting & Events Assistant
- Coordinate event requests and liaise with relevant internal teams and external vendors
- Support event setup, room resets, deliveries, and collections
- Maintain accurate event trackers and records
- Welcome, register, and assist guests and vendors
- Provide a friendly and professional guest experience
- Prepare event materials, including badges and signage
- Manage cloakroom services when required
- Support Guest Services and Meeting Room Coordinators
- Plan and deliver assigned low-impact events
- Assist with stock management and regular stock audits
- Help maintain high standards of hospitality and operational efficiency
- Work flexible office hours, including occasional early starts and late finishes
- Follow relevant health, safety, and security procedures
Contract & Working Hours
- Full-time, 6-month fixed-term contract
- 40 hours per week
- Monday to Friday
- Shift rota between 7 AM and 7 PM
- Location: London, EC2N 4AY
