Nuffield Health is looking for an experienced Technology Delivery Manager to join its Secure Networks and Servers team. The role will support technology transformation while balancing strategic initiatives, essential maintenance, operational requirements, and complex organisational dependencies.

Role Overview

As a Technology Delivery Manager at Nuffield Health, the successful candidate will lead delivery across the Secure Networks and Servers squad, helping teams achieve clear, achievable, and cost-effective outcomes.

The role will involve coordinating delivery plans, milestones, resources, dependencies, risks, and critical paths across multiple initiatives. The Technology Delivery Manager will also work closely with Architecture, Cyber Security, Service Management, Operations, suppliers, and senior stakeholders to ensure technology solutions are secure, supportable, and ready for service.

This position is suited to an experienced technology delivery professional who can combine strategic thinking with hands-on delivery leadership in a complex technology environment.

Key Responsibilities as Technology Delivery Manager

• Lead technology delivery across Nuffield Health’s Secure Networks and Servers squad
• Create delivery plans, milestones, dependencies, resource requirements, and critical paths
• Coordinate multiple concurrent technology initiatives and competing priorities
• Support squad and unit-level planning activities, including refinement, sprint planning, and Big Room Planning
• Bring together priorities, dependencies, team capacity, and delivery confidence across different teams
• Manage delivery risks, issues, decisions, and cross-team or supplier dependencies
• Escalate constraints and delivery challenges clearly and at an early stage
• Provide transparent reporting on progress, priorities, risks, capacity, and delivery confidence to senior stakeholders
• Work with Architecture, Cyber Security, Service Management, and Operations teams
• Ensure technology solutions are secure, supportable, and ready for operational use
• Support change control, implementation planning, testing, deployment, operational readiness, and handover
• Build trusted relationships across Nuffield Health’s Technology function and the wider organisation
• Constructively challenge unclear or unrealistic technology requirements
• Help deliver resilient, scalable, and business-critical technology services
