GXO Logistics is currently recruiting a Team Leader to join its Revelyst operation in Sherburn-in-Elmet, West Yorkshire. The role involves leading warehouse colleagues, coordinating daily activities, and supporting the delivery of productivity, quality, safety, and customer service targets.

Role Overview

As a Team Leader with GXO Logistics, the successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating warehouse activities within their designated area while leading and supporting a team of warehouse operatives.

Working closely with the Shift Management Team, the Team Leader will help ensure operational targets and customer deadlines are achieved. The role is suited to an experienced warehouse leader who can motivate colleagues, manage competing priorities, and maintain high standards of safety and service in a busy operational environment.

Key Responsibilities as Team Leader

• Coordinate daily operational activities within the designated warehouse area
• Ensure productivity, accuracy, quality, and service targets are consistently achieved
• Lead, motivate, and support warehouse operatives
• Create a positive team environment focused on individual and team objectives
• Prioritise workloads and allocate resources effectively
• Ensure customer deadlines and operational targets are met
• Monitor team performance and provide regular feedback and coaching
• Escalate operational issues when appropriate
• Promote a strong health and safety culture
• Ensure colleagues follow safe systems of work, operational procedures, and site standards
• Support the Shift Management Team with daily warehouse operations

Shift Pattern & Salary

• £31,539.75 per year
• Fixed-term contract for 6 months
• Monday to Friday
• 8:00am–5:00pm
• Based at the Revelyst operation in Sherburn-in-Elmet, West Yorkshire
• Full-time position
