Role Overview

As a Warehouse Operative with GXO Logistics, the successful candidate will support the day-to-day operation of an equipment management facility. The role involves handling trays and buckets, operating around washing equipment, preparing cleaned items for collection, and maintaining a safe and tidy working environment.

No previous warehouse experience is required, as full training will be provided. The position is suitable for someone with a positive attitude who is willing to learn and comfortable carrying out repetitive physical tasks.

Key Responsibilities as Warehouse Operative

• Load empty trays and buckets onto the washing machine for cleaning
• Unload clean trays from the washing machine
• Stack and wrap cleaned trays and equipment ready for collection
• Keep work areas clean, organised, and free from hazards
• Follow workplace health and safety procedures
• Complete additional warehouse duties according to operational requirements
• Work efficiently as part of the wider warehouse team
• Maintain consistent standards throughout repetitive operational tasks

Shift Pattern & Pay

• £12.75 per hour
• Full-time, permanent position
• 4 days on, 4 days off shift pattern
• Working hours: 6:00am–6:00pm
• Based in Sherburn-in-Elmet, West Yorkshire
• Equipment management and recycling/reuse operation
