Role Overview
As an Area Security Officer, the successful candidate will play an important role in maintaining safe and secure environments across the Ballymena area. The position involves working at different locations and interacting directly with customers, staff, visitors, and clients.
The role combines security responsibilities with customer service. Duties may include welcoming visitors, checking that security procedures are followed, carrying out searches when required, patrolling premises, and responding appropriately to security incidents.

Key Responsibilities as an Area Security Officer
- Protect customers, staff, buildings, equipment, and other assets
- Greet and assist staff, visitors, and customers in a professional manner
- Ensure visitors and staff follow required security procedures
- Conduct security searches when necessary
- Carry out regular patrols of assigned premises
- Monitor and respond to security incidents
- Help identify and prevent criminal or unauthorised activity
- Maintain a professional and customer-focused approach at all times
- Work closely with colleagues and clients to maintain a safe environment
- Support security operations across different locations in the Ballymena area
Shift Pattern & Pay
- £12.71 per hour
- Various shift patterns covering Monday to Sunday
- Mobile position covering the Ballymena area
- Day, night, and weekend availability required
