Role Overview

As a Night Security Officer, the successful candidate will play an important role in protecting the safety, security, and well-being of hotel guests, associates, visitors, and property assets.

Working primarily within the Security Department, the officer will maintain a visible and professional presence throughout the hotel during overnight operations. The role combines strong security standards with excellent hospitality and customer service.

This position is ideal for someone who is observant, dependable, calm under pressure, and confident when responding to incidents and emergencies. The successful candidate will also work closely with departments across the hotel to support daily operations, VIP visits, and special events.

Key Responsibilities as Night Security Officer

  • Conduct regular security patrols throughout the hotel
  • Maintain a visible and professional security presence
  • Protect guests, associates, visitors, and hotel assets
  • Monitor security systems and respond appropriately to security concerns
  • Respond quickly and professionally to incidents and emergencies
  • Support hotel health and safety procedures
  • Assist guests and associates with professionalism and care
  • Maintain accurate security records and reports
  • Work closely with Front Office, Food & Beverage, Engineering, Events, and other hotel teams
  • Provide security support during VIP visits and special events
  • Help maintain a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for guests
  • Follow hotel security procedures and standards at all times

  • £30,674 listed pay
  • 4 days on and 4 days off
  • 12-hour shifts
