Role Overview

As a Security Supervisor, the incumbent will lead and support a team of Security Officers to deliver a high-quality security service 365 days a year. Working within a busy site environment, they will oversee daily security operations, ensure compliance with safety and security protocols, and act as the first point of contact for the security team. This position is ideal for an experienced, proactive individual who thrives in a fast-paced setting and is committed to upholding the highest standards of safety and customer service.

Key Responsibilities as Security Supervisor

• Lead, motivate, and supervise a team of Security Officers to ensure consistent service delivery
• Manage access control, CCTV operations, patrols, and emergency response procedures
• Oversee incident management, investigations, and accurate reporting of security events
• Ensure compliance with health and safety legislation, site policies, and Assignment Instructions
• Support staff training, development, and performance management
• Build positive relationships with client stakeholders and internal departments
• Maintain security logs, handover notes, and operational records to a high standard
• Respond to security, fire, and emergency incidents with calm and effective leadership

Shift Pattern & Pay

• Competitive hourly rate (typically £13.00–£14.50 per hour, depending on location and venue)
• Full-time contract, often 36–42 hours per week
• Rotating shifts including days, nights, weekends, and bank holidays
• Additional pay enhancements for night shifts and bank holidays where applicable
