Role Overview

As a Security Manager, the successful candidate will take responsibility for the hotel’s security, safety, and loss prevention operations. The role will focus on protecting guests, employees, contractors, visitors, and hotel assets while ensuring that security procedures and safety standards are consistently maintained.

The Security Manager will work closely with the General Manager and wider management team to identify operational security needs, manage potential hazards and threats, and maintain effective relationships with external authorities and regulatory bodies.

Key Responsibilities as Security Manager

  • Lead hotel security, safety, and loss prevention operations
  • Develop, implement, and maintain effective security policies and procedures
  • Identify security risks and introduce appropriate prevention measures
  • Manage, supervise, and train members of the security team
  • Monitor CCTV, alarm systems, access controls, and key management procedures
  • Investigate security incidents, thefts, accidents, complaints, and breaches
  • Prepare detailed reports following investigations and security incidents
  • Liaise with the police, fire services, and relevant safety or regulatory authorities when required
  • Support the General Manager and management team with security-related operational requirements
  • Promote a strong culture of safety, security, and compliance throughout the hotel
  • Help ensure guests, employees, contractors, and visitors remain safe on the premises

  • Location: London
  • Salary: £32,000–£40,000 per year, depending on experience
  • Additional bonus may be available
